Tesla Motors has tried to appeal to a different crowd with their 100% electric, 100K+ Roadster, but haven’t understood the difference between Sporty and Sexy. The Tesla Roadster is sporty, while Fisker’s ‘Karma’ car is sexy. To help speed America’s production of ‘transition’ vehicles (hybrids), many manufacturers have created decent looking hybrids cars - now it’s time for an 100% electric vehicle to step up to the plate.
In a world immersed with technology and technology blogs, there isn’t enough attention paid to exactly why we fell in love with technology in the first place. Matt and shiny surfaces have taken the place of seductive and subtle lines, truly elegant curves have been replaced with a 45 degree radius; and with millions of products, web-apps, and web 2.0, many have lost that deep passion to hold, touch, and truly master technology.

Far from robot love slaves, sexy technology is about the desire to create objects more beautiful than ourselves, and a passion for truly elegant solutions to the world’s problems.
